Default Error Message for Vent

Hey Rich,
When I log into my CP and click on "Manage Services", then click on "Ventrilo Voice Server", I get the following error message: Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/home/defcon/public_html/include/query/ventrilo/ventrilostatus.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/defcon/public_html/corecp/include/query/ventrilo.query.php on line 5

Would you please look into this?

Thanks,
Robert Hogue

P.S. Congratulations on your upcoming marriage!!!

Hi Robert,
I went and logged in and ran a few tests and cannot seem to replicate the problem. Can you verify that this error is still present?

PS. Thanx for the well wishes!

Hey Rich,
Thanks for the timely response. I am still experiencing the error. Here is a link to a screenshot I just took. Maybe that will help in diagnosing the issue.

I logged in with your info and didn't get that error message. I show your server status where it should be. Maybe Chuck can take a look at it as well and verify?

Hey Rich,
Thanks for looking at it. Are there any settings in my browser I may need to change? My CP for my Halo game server works fine, it is just this new Ventrilo CP. If you don't mind, please have chuck take a look at this. I can't think of anything on my end that it could be, however if you have anything for me to try I will be happy to do it.

Thanks,
Robert Hogue

Not sure. I'm allergic to Internet Explorer But I know our coder Luke uses it for testing so it shouldn't be an issue. Let me get in touch with him and see what he recommends and I'll have the guys test it out as well.

By the way, I use Firefox browser..

Default Hi

Hi Robert,

I also verifyed this with Rich a while ago and the error isn't showing up for me either in the CP. I used Firefox & IE and niether one of them got any errors loading that page. You might try clearing your Temporary internet files, & cookies, and veryfiy that your security settings are on medium.

Hello guys,
I've come to my brother-in-law's house and am using his computer. I am still receiving the same exact error.

Let me see if I can simplify this some. All I want is to change my codec for my voice server. It has been brought to my attention that the new MAC version is available for Ventrilo. The MAC users in my clan state that they cannot hear or speak anything in the server. Ventrilo has recommended changing the codec to Speex. This means changing a few settings under "General Configuration" and "General Settings". The "Voice Codec" setting needs to be changed to "3" and the "Voice Format" setting changed to an "18". If you can make this change for me, that should take care of things. I can manage everything else via the rcon.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Robert Hogue
