 HOW TO: Connect to your Ventrilo Server
To connect to your server you will first need to open your Ventrilo client. If you don't have Ventrilo install yet you can go to the Ventrilo Website to download it. Instructions will be in the download. Once you client is opened you will need to click the -> to the right of "Server" A box will pop up and allow you to hit New, once you hit new you may title your server whatever you desire. After you have set a new server name, you will need to insert your server ip. Your server ip (Check your server details email) will need to be put where it says "Hostname or IP" followed by inserting your servers port number in the "Port" field. You will not need to insert a password in the password field upon your initial connection seeing that all Defcon Ventrilo servers are initially installed as Public Servers.
