In order to promote our mod/expansion switchers I have been considering a change for the last two months. Currently MOH servers have a seperate 'Server.cfg' file for MOHAA, MOHAA:SH, MOHAA:BT, & MOHPA. COD customers have two 'Dedicated.cfg' files, one for COD & another for UO. Since the files are named the same it makes it difficult for users that run multiple game types to keep backups and sometimes to distinguish between the files. With that said, we have been considering renaming the files similar to the other games we support. RVS for example has a 'Server.ini' for the main game and a 'ServerAthenaSword.ini' for the expansion. Along those same lines how would these examples work for everyone? ServerCOD.cfg & ServerCODUO.cfg or ServerCOD.cfg & ServerUO.cfg or Server.cfg & ServerUnitedOffensive.cfg ServerMOHAA.cfg, ServerMOHSH.cfg, ServerMOHBT.cfg, ServerMOHPA.cfg or ServerMOHAA.cfg, ServerMOHAASH.cfg, ServerMOHAABT.cfg, ServerMOHPA.cfg or ServerMOHAA.cfg, ServerSpearhead.cfg, ServerBreakthrough.cfg, & ServerMOHPA.cfg Any and all feedback will be appreciated. This change will take place sometime before the end of January and since it involves some major reworking of the Iguana Common Settings whatever changes are made will be permanent. |

The new config files list all of the new cvars added with the last patch. You might want to double check the new configs, compare them to the old ones that the settings were transferred properly before deleting the old ones... |
